I. How to book
A. The client requests a tour and receives information regarding availability and a standard or personalized offer.
B. A firm reservation is made only by paying an advance and following these steps:
1. The client accepts the final offer (the information received by email or the attached document, after clarifying all the details) and expresses in writing the decision to book, informing Santiago Tour about:
– the payment terms (see below)
– the payment method (see below)
2. The client operates the agreed payment and informs Santiago Tour (in case of paying by bank transfer).
3. After receiving the payment confirmation, Travel Selector Inc. – owner of Santiago Tour trademark – issues an invoice in the name of the payer and sends it by email to the client. If the client wants the invoice to be issued on a different name, he must provide the details ahead (name and surname / company name; Tax ID number / VAT number; address).
4. Santiago Tour proceeds to the firm reservation of the services included in the offer and in a maximum term of 20 working days issues a Travel Voucher: summary and confirmation of all the services booked plus important information, sending it by email to the client.
5. The client confirms the Voucher by email if the content is correct and in accordance with the final offer previously accepted.
II. Payment terms
Option 1 (only for tourists):
• 25% of the total amount paid at the time of the firm reservation.
• 25% of the total amount paid 15 days before departure
• The remaining amount paid upon arrival, only by cash, only to the guide or manager of the agency, before starting the tour.
Important: the second payment can be 50% or 75% (partial or total), reducing or eliminating the remaining amount paid by cash.
There are 3 ways of paying detailed below in “Payment Methods”.
Option 2 (for travel agencies / companies / groups of at least 20 people)
• minimum 5% of the total amount paid at the time of the firm reservation, at least 30 days before departure
• 30% of the total amount paid 30 days before departure
• The Remaining amount paid between 10 and 7 days before departure.
Payments must be collective, by bank transfer, and the details of all participants can be mentioned on the invoice (if required).
III. Payment Methods
For payments inside EU and SEPA
> method: by bank transfer in one of our euro accounts (IBAN).
> duration: payment takes place within 1-2 days
> fee: 0 / low (only what your bank charges you)
For payments from US
> method: by bank transfer in our US dollar account.
> duration: payment takes place within 1-2 days
> fee: 0 / low (only what your bank charges you)
For other payments
> method: online by personal or company card, only possible with Visa, Master Card, Visa Electron and Maestro cards (which have a CVV2 / CVC2 code).
We send you a payment request by email. After opening the email, you initialize the payment that is made online through the secure platform EuPlatesc.ro / PlatiOnline.ro, simply by following the steps and instructions. This form of payment complies with the rules of EuPlatesc.ro / PlatiOnline.ro and you don’t need to register as a user. The platform does not save the confidential data of your card and only communicates them in an encrypted form through a secure connection to the bank that processes the payment.

Worldwide except EU / SEPA: 0% for personal card (we cover it) or 1% for company card (it will be added to the remaining amount).
EU / SEPA: 1% for personal or company card (it will be added to the remaining amount).
During the payment there are no fees. Regardless of the currency of your card, the transaction will be in euros. If you have the card in another currency, your bank will do the conversion. On the bank statement of the account holder, the transaction will appear under the name [www.rumania-viajes.es] / Travel Selector.
Another payment method
By card via PayPal, possible for most card types.
We send you a payment request by email. After opening the email, you initialize the payment that is made online through PayPal, simply by following the steps and instructions. This form of payment complies with PayPal rules. It is not mandatory to have a PayPal account.

> fee: approx. 3.4%-4.9% depending on your country (it will be added to the remaining amount).
IV. Cancellation policy
For option 1 from payment terms (tourists)
• Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: charge of 10% of the total amount
• Cancellation between 30 and 15 days before departure: charge of 25% of the total amount
• Cancellation less than 15 days before departure: charge of 50% of the total amount.
These conditions refer to the total cancellation of the trip, regardless of the reason. In the event of a reduction in the number of participants, the price is recalculated and it is communicated if there are cancellation fees determined by the conditions with our service providers.
For option 2 from payment terms (travel agencies / companies / groups of minimum 20 people)
• Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: charge of minimum 5% of the total amount
• Cancellation between 30 and 7 days before departure: charge of 35% of the total amount
• Cancellation less than 7 days before departure: charge of 35% – 100% of the total amount, depending on the expenses with the service providers.
These conditions refer to the total cancellation of the trip, regardless of the reason. In the event of a reduction in the number of participants, the price is recalculated, if applicable, and it is communicated if there are cancellation fees determined by the conditions with our service providers.
Important: when a refund has to be made, the transfer fee (if there is a significant one) will be added to the amount withheld from the customer (if it is the case).
