Short trip to Transylvania that gives you the possibility to explore Sighisoara, a UNESCO medieval citadel, including at the same time the most important attractions: the castles, Brasov and Prejmer fortified church.

If more people sign up for the tour you have booked / if it's you who signs up for an already scheduled tour, the tour will be shared. On a shared tour, the price is the one that corresponds to the total number of participants (from 6 it no longer decreases) and there is a maximum of 16 participants. If you don't want to share the tour, ask us about it.

• Confirmed hotels can be communicated only after making the reservations on specific dates
• center 0 / center 1 / center 2 means: 0-5 / 5-15 / 15-25 minutes walking distance from the center (the important tourist area of the city)
• Some 3* and 4* boutique hotels and pensions don't have an elevator or air conditioning (because it is not usually required). If these are essential requirements, please let us know.

Program
Day 1. Bucharest - Sinaia - Brasov - Sighisoara ☾. 295 km
Program: visit Peles Castle; visit and free time in Brasov; free time in Sighisoara.
Meeting with the guide. We leave Bucharest heading toward the Southern Carpathians and arrive in about 2h / 2h30 at Sinaia mountain resort. We visit Peles Castle (standard tour), the last royal residence in Europe built in neo-Renaissance style. Then we continue the route to Brasov, a charming town at the foot of high mountains. Walking tour of the beautiful pedestrian center where the Black Church stands out, an imposing Lutheran church housing the second collection of oriental carpets in Europe. Free time and continue in the afternoon to Sighisoara, the “postcard” town with an unforgettable collection of medieval buildings, declared a World Heritage Site. Accommodation and free time.

Day 2. Sighisoara - Prejmer - Bran - Bucharest ☾. 345 km
Program: visit Sighisoara and Prejmer fortified church; visit and free time at Bran Castle.
Breakfast. Walking tour around the Citadel’s Square, enclosed by buildings such as the House with the Stag, the Venetian House or the remarkable Clock Tower. We leave right after, returning to Brasov area, arriving at Prejmer, and visiting the UNESCO Fortified Church - the most complete and maybe the best preserved throughout the region. Then we continue the route to Bran and discover "Dracula's Castle", where the myth of the Count-Vampire enfolds in mystery a great historical fortress. Visit, time to have lunch and buy souvenirs, and return in the afternoon to Bucharest. End of Santiago Tour’s services. Thank you!
